Don’t go too hard on the penta clip!

Some rider was complaining his saddle isn’t very secure on his Brompton. The first thing that I did was to remove the penta clip and see what’s happening within. As you can see from the following image, the aluminium seatpost had been deformed. The likely cause would have been the penta clip had been over torgue by a margin.

Brompton generally suggest tighten the penta clip bolt to 15Nm.
