One of the very first upgrades on own Brompton was the Phil wood 74mm width front hub for Brompton. So when this polished silver Philwood landed at the workshop and getting ready to be built, it had my full attention to it.
This Phil wood front hub fits the Brompton classic look perfectly. It may not be the lightest front hub (around 190 grams) in the world, but it surely runs as smoothly as it could ever have been. I never think back a bit for my initial choice of upgrades, I hope that same goes to this owner too.
Better known as the titanium guy at Bike48/Brompton slimming center. Always trying to tell people titanium is 41% lighter than steel. Proactively modding up his Brompton with the leftover parts!
